Shoulder Straps

Can someone please summarize the shoulder strap height guidelines again.

My DD is rear facing in a True Fit and a Complete Air. I have not moved her straps up at all for a long time. Right now I would say that they are below her shoulders. Should I move them up to be above her shoulders?

For a child who is rear facing, as a general rule, the straps should be AT or BELOW the child's shoulders.

The one exception is that if the position of 'at or below' is so far below that the straps slide off the child's shoulders. Then it is permissible to move the straps up the next slot as long as it is a very miniscule amount above.

For a forward facing child, the straps should be AT or ABOVE the child's shoulders.
