Question Has anyone tried the FR85 in booster mode?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Frontier 85 in booster mode with the SG clip? I ordered one in red :love: just cause I couldn't wait for the cowmoo cover :rolleyes:
I figure dd1 can use it in booster mode until she's ready for a backless, the ds can use it. Love that 9 year life span!

sorry, no, but THEY ARE GETTING A COWMOO FOR FRONTIER 85?!?! any other colors coming ??!?!

MY undedrstanding is that the belt fit is the same on the old and new frontiers, becusenothing was changed in the shape of the beltpath. I asked Darren this specifically when he unboxed and was reviewing the fr85 for us. Otherthan the fact they now extend the red colored part, the beltpath fits the same. I'm sure a bunch of us have trtied the frf80 in bpb mode.......personally, the fit on dd isn't great, but not horrible. She is 5.5 yo, 45 lbs, , 43 inches tall, so at the smaller end of when most of use would probably booster.
