ERF and harnessing ~ sharing with my community!

It's that time again for our community health fair. This year I'm setting up a booth for green and natural parenting. We are going to show some information about BF, CD, BW, AP ect.

I really would like to touch base with ERF and possibly long term harnessing. Since the county tech is going to be doing a car seat safety booth I don't feel the need to touch base on all that I just want to focus on the ERF and harnessing. Our tecks only push the 1 and 20 and to harness until 3 and 30 or is it 4 and 40?? Anyways I'd just like to share with others about the benefits of ERF.

I thought you all might have links or suggestions for me while putting together all of it. Anything you think I should include? I was thinking a printout with statistics on it, different seats that allow ERF/H and links like car-seat.org, county techs ect. I was hoping to put up pictures on the board of kids ERF and HWH seats.

Here are some printouts that might be helpful. One of the brochures has some pictures in it of older kids riding rearfacing and another showing booster age kids. Maybe you can utilize one or more of the below printouts.

Definitely do a board with ERF and EH pics. The pics make a big impact since often people are unable to picture even a 2 year old rear-facing.

I'd have a list of ERF seats and a list of EH seats.

Thanks!! Still trying to get the pages to load and checking it all out!

Any catchy phrases we can use on our board for ERF and EH??

Would anyone here feel like sharing pictures of their ERF or EH kids?

Here is my son RF at 3 years old, about 30lbs, 37 inches tall. He is also RF in a 2 door car in a My Ride 65.

Here he is at 2 1/2 with close to the same stats as above. He is RF in a 2 door car in an Evenflo Triumph Advance:

You're welcome to use either of the above pictures.

Sounds like a great opportunity

BUT

No flaming here please, but why wouldn't the car seat booth be the best place for this info...AP/CD which I know are very popular, esp with the families on this board, are a parenting style/choice....ERF and Extended Harnessing are safety issues that parents of all parenting styles should be made aware of (whether they be "crunchy" for lack of better word) or mainstream or whatever a parent is chosing as their style.

I didn't CD or AP and may not have stopped by your booth, but I think the information is important to share with the widest possible audience.

Can you give your ERF info etc to the carseat booth as well as having at your booth???? It wouldn't hurt to have the info at both places. I think the county tech should also have the more up to date RF info, it would be helpful to provide them with the current info if they'd be receptive.

Spreading the word is all about pictures too, like everyone said...can you have a small tv/computer with some of the crash test video's streaming...very compelling.
