Question Weight limits...

I know weight limits for carseat use need to be strictly adheard to, but given that individual scales are usually slightly off, how do you determine when a carseat is outgrown? Last time I weighed my son, on a scale at Walmart, he weighed roughly 32 1/2 lbs, full dressed, with a 1/2 full belly. At what point is he too heavy for a 35lb RF-ing limit seat?

I give a 1lb fault, however, I have a medical grade scale, so it better NOT be off!

My mom has a pretty expensive digital that records to 2 decimal places. That I trust as well. A plane ole bathroom scale with an analog reading that must be calibrated by hand....I've seen them be up to 5lb off.
