Graco 5 point....took cover off to wash, and NOW...

So...I have a Graco with a 5 point harness...and in a fit of nesting instinct, decided I needed to remove the cover to wash it, etc. Well...NOW I can't figure out how to get this thing back together, and my instruction manual is nowhere to be found. (Probably accidently tossed THAT in a fit of nesting regarding getting rid of everything that might be trash in the house.)

Help!

Now I just don't know what to do. Looking at it, it makes no sense. I can't figure out how to get the shoulder harnesses to go through the slots on the back of the carrier piece. How were they ever back there? Surely they DO go through the hard plastic and not just through the cover, right?

Thanks to all,

Jen

Yes the harness must go through the cover and plastic of the seat and attach to the seat somehow. Different models have different ways this is done, you should be able to click here and find your model's instructions:http://www.gracobaby.com/customerservice/instructions_category.aspx?catID=1
(you should also request a free replacement manual from Graco, NO ONE should use a carseat without the manual)
Your seat's model # should be on a sticker on the seat somewhere.
