Is it normal for floor models not to have manufacture dates because you're not supposed to sell them?

And it really says you can use it as a booster if child is 1 yr, 40 + pounds, and at least 43" tall"???!!! Ok...that would be a VERY heavy, and VERY tall 1 yr old, but STILL....some parents would just read the 1 yr and into a booster they would go!

Our floor models are just regular car seats. We get stock in, I grab a box and bud it the floor model.

Better than the Ambassador... nothing like a backless once the kid is 1 & 30.

That's weird, Judi. Do you think it was isolated, or do you have a whole batch that looks like that?

EKKK, then! Can you open up some more to check and see if you got a bad batch? At the very least, I'd be notifying Dorel in the morning.

It does look like an older style, as it doesn't appear to have the color coded stickers for rear, forward and boostering belt paths that I've seen on newer models.

I called Dorel, and talked to tech. She talked to her boss, and they want the seat. It will be going back home on Thursday.
