We are taking a plane trip across the country soon. We will need seats on the other side. We will take either the EFTA or RN65 for ds but I'm torn about what to do for dd. For the sake of easy travel I'd like to take the RSTV, which fits her nicely and she is used to using on shorter trips.
When we get to CA, we will have to rent a car and drive about 3 and a half hours. I'm betting dd will need to sleep because of travel exhaustion. She isn't a usual car sleeper and has never slept in the RSTV or any seat for that matter. Is it possible or comfortable to do so? Should I take a RN or GN instead for her? I'm a bit intimidated with 2 kids, a stroller, 2 seats, etc. on my own but I know it's been done.
If I do take the RN65, do kids typically have head slump in that seat? The sides are so shallow I can't envision her sleeping in that. But I have no idea because she never falls asleep in the car, but I know that with the 3 hour time difference and being exhausted she's really going to need to sleep.
Advice?
