I know I've seen it suggested before to recline a captain's chair a click or two to gain a little legroom for a rf install. DD2 is getting really scrunched in her MA. I'd like to try to get her a little more legroom so we can rf as long as possible, as a new seat is out of the question due to finances. She is 26 months, 34", 28 lbs. She is due for a big growth spurt though.
The car in question is a 2000 Windstar. I saw a generic blurb in the owner's manual about the seat back being upright for installing car seats, but I wasn't sure how strict that was and if it made any difference that the MA is tethered rf. If anyone has the answer it would make my day! (I'd offer to hug you, but you can see the problem with that. I could hug my monitor? ) Thanks!
