Okay, was wondering what everyone would do in this situation...
Stopped at a garage sale this morning with 3 expired seats (DOM 1997,2000,2002) They had $20 on 2 of them and $10 on the other. I made sure to tell the lady that carseats are good for 6 years and all of these were expired and should be disposed of. She said a friend brought them over and her son is about 10. If they would've been her seats I would've offered a few dollars for them and disposed of them properly, but since they were a friend's I didn't think she'd go for that.
What else could I have done? Is there anything else?
