Lightweight Strollers

I finally decided on my big "walking" stroller, but I would like to get a small, lightweight, compactly folding stroller for this baby as well. Suggestions? I need something that can live in the car most of the time that would be good for trips to the mall, walking around a shopping center, etc. I don't really want to spend more than $150 tops! Looking also for a decent recline on the seat.

I personally have been very happy with my Chicco stroller. Mine was the C5, which was discontinued, but they have some newer models with more of a flat recline.

Maclaren all the way.... :) You can find some good deals from babyproductstore on ebay - they are actually the mac outlet. If you go through bing, you can get 8% back on the buy it now ones :) If you're looking for a fancier one, gilt has some ryders for $200 incl shipping (ryders have suspension, full recline, etc)

FWIW, the Mac Volo doesn't recline, but the angle of the seat is such that kids still sleep really well in it. I remember Jool's DD2 sleeping in hers at Lifesavers in 2005, and she was only a few mos old.

I love my Graco Ipo. It folds down just a little bigger than an umbrella stroller, has a good canopy, fair basket underneath and has a great recline. Takes up barely any space in my Civic trunk.

The Britax Blink deserves a mention. Offers many Mac features at about half the price. I'm a Mac girl all the way, but that Blink... it's just pretty... good.

Does it fold easily? I am going to need an umbrella fold to fit it behind the 3rd row in my Highlander. (I like that upper weight limit though!)

I've seen the Blinks come up on BabyEarth GaGa deals fairly often, if you have the time to stalk their site for a month or two....

We love our Maclaren Quest. I got it on sale at BRU for less than $150. You can also find good deals on them on eBay. I like that it reclines. My son was 18 mos when I got it and would nap in the stroller. Even at five he still likes the recline feature. The stroller has been around the world (literally) and survived.
