Measurement of MR base?

Does anyone have a rough estimate of how tall the base is in RF mode? I just measured my como from the bottom of the base to the seat in RF mode and got 6 in. I was wondering if anyone knew if the MR base is smaller or not? As soon as I can get my como sold I'm wanting to get a MR, just wondering if it sat as tall or not?

Not sure if this is the measurements you wanted but it is 5.5" from bottom of base to rear of seat bottom where child's bum goes and 10" to front of seat bottom where child's legs go.

Yeap, that's the measurement I was looking for. So it's not too much shorter than the como..

Would a TF sit lower because it has no base?

Yes, the TF sits quite a bit lower (I own both seats). While I like the lowness of the TF for more height room to get a child in/out (less chance of head bonking on door sill), I like the height of the MR for buckling the child, I don't have to lean at all in my vehicle. Since DD gets into her seat herself now, the extra in/out room isn't as important to me. And DD likes the MR better since she sits higher and can see more than when in her TF.

Going by that info, I'm going to guess that Jonah would like the MR better because of that reason.. he can see out of the back windows without a problem in the Como... it'd be my luck I'd get the TF and he'd end up hating it and screaming his head off *which he hasn't done since we got these seats* because he was used to the height.
