Does the Signo have EPS foam in the back? I know the wings have a different type of foam, but what (if anything) goes behind the head?

I wish it had eps foam. I didn't realize that before I bought it and of course now ds likes it. I wonder why the como has it but not the signo?

ETA same for the g2, that's what we have

What are your DS's stats, and do you feel comfortable without the EPS foam? I would assume that the comfort foam would offer *some* protection.

That naked car seat thread makes me feel better about getting the como.. I almost got a singo but it wasn't in my price range at the time.

Ds is 3, 29lbs/36". He rides rf. I'm okay without the eps foam just like I would be with a scenera. There is some sort of memory foam stuff in the headwings and then a layer of comfort foam stuff plus a well padded cover. I doubt that it would be the make it or break it against injury in a crash.
