Strada booster

What about the Strada booster? I was just looking at Target.com at what boosters they had, because I'm going to make an order today. I saw it and wondered - I can't remember if it has some big thing that makes takes it off the recommended list, or if it's just been overlooked.

This one was top of my list until they changed the price. I still haven't seen one in person. If you are on CafeMom there is a review of this seat in the Car Seat Safety group. One of the ladies won the seat. Overall, she thought it was a nice seat.

I'm not on cafemom. I kind of wondered about overall width, seat depth and tallest belt guide. The usual.

I have one. I posted pictures when I got it. There is a thread on here if you search for it. I bought it to booster train DD, but she seems too petite for it width wise. I have it listed in swap right now to figure out another option for us.

I searched for any Strada threads last week when I asked about the Strada and found nothing and got no replies on my post. I would love to see one in person and it isn't that expensive, if you compare it to other boosters on the market. ;) I wonder if USA baby has it in stock, or Baby On Grand- they had the Jane Indy the last time I was there, I wanted to get it but it was still full price.

Oh I like it!!! It looks like it gets pretty wide. Does it become a backless as well?
And your dd is a cutie!!! She looks super happy in the Strada!

It does become a backless. I actually have my niece who is almost 10 in it this weekend and it fits her really well. My ex's family is pretty long and leggy. This booster supports her to her knees! :) It does get pretty wide as well. I have never seen a monterey in person, but it probably gets just a little less wide than that. My DD swims in it side to side though. The only reason I found this out is because she was scooting herself to one side so that she was up against of the the sides. I don't think she felt snugged in like she has been in every other seat. Ill see if either will let me take pictures today. I don't have the back on, but I'll try to see if I can get a picture of my niece in it for you.

Have you tried her in the Vivo?? I was just wondering because that is what I have and if my son continues to grow like he is he is going to be too wide for it, in the shoulder area, sooner rather than later, although I love love love it and don't want to trade it but I might have to if he continues to grow like a linebacker. :D
I wish it did have the LATCH ability for that price. But I do like that it becomes a backless. Now if they had other colors and fabrics..... it is mesh right?
