Which seat?

This is for my sister's car, no TA ('98 Accord).

DS is 38-40lbs (fluctuates) and FFing.

Untethered RNXT or untethered Nauti. I thought I remembered seeing that the Nauti did well untethered in the TC tests? Maybe I'm crazy though

As for SIP, etc which would you prefer to see a 3 year old in? Just trying to figure out the best situation.

On the flip side which would you rather see a 26 month old FFing in? Seat would be for DNe and tethered (Grandma's '08 Civic).

The untethered Nautilus had better HE numbers than the untethered Radian.

What kind of Radian is it? Can he use it rear facing?

Its an XT, but only to 40lbs RFing. He bounces around with weight quite often, but is usually *right at* 40lbs.

Gotcha.

In an untethered situation, all other things being equal, I'd choose the Nauti. I don't suppose she could get a tether anchor installed?

For the 26 month old, is there a reason she can't be rear facing?

I would use the Nautilus for DS.

As far as the 26 month old, if RF was totally out of the question, I would have her ride in the XT FF top tethered. But really as you know she should be RF! :)

I realized it sounded like its for DD  It would be for DNe. They wont RF him.

And no, no hope of her getting a TA installed. Yeah... we'll just leave it there
