I visited my first Marathon

I stopped at Babies R Us the other day to pick up a shower gift. Besides the fact that it took me 45 minutes to find the kind of blanket I like (note, I said I like, not the mother likes) even though I had to get pink, and long nightgowns that were not pink, and pondering over purple PJs, I also meandered through the car seats. I saw Marathons. I liked the one in the Olivia. I stroked it, and fiddled with the straps. I came back numerous times.

Reminding all you fine folks again, I do not have a child, nor any prospects for men to help me get one.

i have no children as well. And i have already bought like 4 seats... But i am a nanny and have 4 godchildren so i guess it is ok... It is not just sitting in my car with no one in it. And yeah the marathon is a good seat. i want it but think i am going to wait for the new recaro

I always go straight to the baby section & check out the carseats whenever we shop anywhere!! My dp thinks I'm a nut... "Haven't I already seen these a million times?"

I also had an interest before I had Zander & had a car full of seats for childcare kiddos! Years ago, a guy that I dated almost got me a Britax for Christmas, because when he asked my friends what I wanted, that's what they told him!!

But he ended up having to ask me which one since there were a lot of choices & I said that could wait! Later I wondered why I said that!
