Which design is the newer one?

I think I am ready for DD to make the change to a booster!

I received a huge refund from my college for over-paying so I think I deserve to buy her this :)

Can anybody tell me which one is newer? I want the newest DOM:

Because they opened up on the opposite order on my screen, the one with more black on the seat and back portions. :)

Have you tried her in it? IIRC, she is pretty petite. It was too wide in the shoulder for my small-ish guy. The belt was off his shoulder if the headrest was in the proper position.

Is this for your mustang? Dumb question, maybe, lol, but I know for sure the Vivo fits in the highest position in even an older convertible mustang, and the smallish base fits neatly in the scooped out seats, and the shoulder fit seems to be a lot better in thinner kiddos.
Check the shopping and deals section for coupon codes and stuff :)

I just wanted to let you know that your daughter (congrats!) will probably not fit well in the Monterey. My dd1 has almost the same stats as yours and the Monterey was just too wide in the shoulder area.

Yes for the Mustang, and thanks!

THat is what I was thinking, also.

Reaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyyy?! :(:(:(

That is why I need return shipping, because there is no place around here that has any of the LATCHable boosters to try out

What do you guys think would be a better option?

Is the Vivo a LATCHable booster?

Firemomof3, do you like your Oobr? That was another option, just not sure if I want to splurge that much!

PS: I really hate the fabric on the Recaro's :(

I bought her a Turbo a long time ago and it is too tippy so it can't be used. Is the Recaro thinner in the aspects of it fitting into the seat dip and not being tippy?

nope. but there are two different types of fabric on the recaros. The Lite is more of a microfiber.

Here is a thread discussing the monterey for littler kids. It does seem to fit my 4 year old pretty good, but she is a bit broad, and wide shouldered (and long torsoed, too!). Stats with the pics:) The nautilus pic is from the beginning of October, she is now at the top slot, and not sure she even still fits right now. Just about even with the 3rd slot of the regent, almost ready to move up to the top.

Okay, I guess I forgot the link, oops:)

Ahhhh ok good to know! I don't like the one that looks like velour. That would be the regular Recaro Vivo correct? So I need to be looking at the Vivo Lite?

Yes, but because I had it backward. The regular is sort of fuzzy microfiber/velour. The Lite is more of a breathable mesh.
