maclarens on gilt

Gilt.com has maclarens through the 28th. Volo is $85, Quest $150 - Designer Quests and Ryders are $185-$275.

You need to be a Gilt member (membership is free). I think there is currently a waiting list for membership, but you can ask a member for an invite and get in right away. (I think they accept a certain number of new members without invites each day - I think they just met their quota for today).

I asked for an invite yesterday and got in today. :) I need to ask my husband if we have $85 for a Volo... (I'm sure he'll say not right now we don't. But doesn't hurt to ask. ;) )

The membership thing is kind of goofy - I became a member after being "invited" long ago (originally you had to know someone) and it's no big thing to invite someone, you're not limited, but they limit the number of people who don't have invites, but once you're in, you're in. The nice thing is that you can check on the site which sales are coming up for the next few days. They have lots of good kids stuff

I was eyeing those ryders - pretty good deal, but don't need one....don't need one...don't need one...

The delivery time was loonnng for the Ryder. I wound up buying from Albeebaby's ebay store instead.

Did anyone buy a Volo? The pattern that Gilt had was really nice.

celtic1885: Schnoop has the Silver Cross Fizz on again for the next 9 hours or so, for $70.

Thanks Otto! my only concerns are 1.never seen one in person, 2. I have big kids. Dd2 is 41#, dd3 is 35# they're both tall, I can't see a max weight it just says "toddler". Not sure how long it would last for the girls..............although it's seriously tempting.
