Time for musical seats...again

We have an upcoming visit for my kids. We have been asked to transport the siblings as well. Help me figure out the most workable solution. We will have 8 people in the car...so every seat will need to be used. Everybody but the baby is FF.

DH
Me
13yr old (5'6" / 160lbs, so can sit in front)
8yr old (unsure of height, around 50lbs)
6yr old (unsure of height, around 45lbs)
2yr 9mo (38" and 32lbs)
2yr 9mo (35" and 27lbs)
7mo (25" and 18lbs)

Seats to chose from:
Frontier 85 (at the moment, only spot that works is 2nd row driver side)
Radian XT
Britax DC (3)
Evenflo Maestro (2)
Keyfit 30
Graco TB (high back and no back)

I've had the 8 & 6yr olds in boosters before, and quite frankly, they are HORRID booster riders, so I'd prefer them harnessed. And the 6yr old does fit in the DC, so I know she'd fit in a Maestro.

Part of my problem is 'keeping the peace'. My boys are very possessive of their seats. This will be a long car ride (3hrs each way) and I need happy kids...as well as safe kids. Who ever sits in the 2nd row passenger seat can not be in a harness as it's the access seat to the 3rd row.

The 3rd row, technically has one top tether location. I have used the cargo anchor (closest to the rear door) as a tether location (parental choice).

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What vehicle?

You said your boys are possessive of their seats. What are their usual seats? That way we can try to keep them in their preferred seats. In case that's not workable, which would be better, to have one in "their" seat and one not, or neither in their usual seat? Don't know if it would be war or if only having one upset child is preferred.

Vehicle is a 2000 Suburban (no latch). Currently, one 2yr old is in Frontier 85. 2nd one is in DC 3rd row passgenger side. Baby currently 2nd row, rf'ing center in DC. But I can put her in the KF in the 3rd row (if me or oldest ds is in the 3rd row to tend her).

OH, and the 8yr old fits and prefers the Radian XT. Though she hasn't seen the new Frontier yet. LOL

I'm not familiar with the vehicle and there aren't any entries in the three across thread, but I'll give it my best shot.

2nd row: Frontier (2yo), DC or KF (baby), 13yo
3rd row: DC (2yo or 6yo), Radian (8yo), DC (2yo or 6yo) OR Radian/DC/DC OR DC/DC/Radian. My preference would be to leave the Radian untethered and tether the 6yo.

I don't know if the Radian will work in the 3rd row...my belts are forward of the bight...but I'll try.
