Sold at: Mass merchandise, home improvement, specialty fireplace and furniture retailers from January 1998 through December 2008 for between $200 and $1,500 for the fireplaces and stoves. This recall includes remote control kits subsequently replaced under warranty.

Kroger Recalls Kroger California Seasoning Blend Garlic Powder due to notification from a supplier that an ingredient in the product may have been contaminated with Salmonella. Stores under the following names in the 31 states where Kroger operates are included in this recall: Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, Fry’s, King Soopers, Smith’s, Dillons, QFC, City Market, Foods Co., Jay C, Scott’s, Owen’s, Baker's, Gerbes, Hilander and Pay Less.

The recalled product was only distributed to supermarkets in the Southwestern United States.

Barcel was notified by one of its suppliers that a seasoning used in Barcel Tostachos contains hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP) manufactured by Basic Food Flavors, Inc., which has voluntarily recalled several lots of this ingredient because of potential Salmonella exposure.

CaiE Foods Limited, a Sparks, Nev., establishment, is recalling approximately 12,382 pounds of assorted Asian-style meat and poultry products, including steamed buns and oriental-style dumplings, because they were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. The assorted Asian-style products were produced from November 2009 through Feb. 26, 2010, and were distributed to casino restaurants and distribution centers in the State of Nevada.
