I have an old friend that went to college in Roanoke and just stayed and made her life there after she graduated. She has two kidlets. Her DS was one last July, and she was home for a visit. I had actually sold them my TF, and mentioned keeping him RF and how great the TF was for keeping him RF a good long time. I got the eyes glazing over at one point, so I dropped it. She asked me to check her seats (he was still RF at that time), but time got away from us and I didn't get a chance to look.
A few months later, she came back in so that I could do some pics for her. He was FF . I didn't bring it back up.
She posted on FB today that she went to the police station and had her seat checked by an officer. He turned her ds back around . He said that the state of VA highly recommends that kids stay RF until at least 2. She said she was astonished by how wrong she had been doing it all along with both kids. Her DD is 3 1/2 and was riding in a loose seat with loose harness and he fixed her right up and told her why for everything.
So, I was impressed to hear it and proud of her for giving in to my insanity as she called it previously.
