I have been asked to pick out a few seats for a local lending program.

They need to fit ages NB-12. Funds are limited.

I was thinking something like 2 Evenflo Triumph Advances for ages NB-4 and then 2 TB's for ages 4-12. I am not sure how many seats she wants but they have some that have NEVER been used and they exp next year, so I am thinking that 4-6 will be it.

What do you think?

What about two Sceneras, two Maestros, and two HBB Turbos? The Sceneras will fit tiny babies better, the Maestros will fit bigger kids longer (I'm thinking of the big 3YOs I see at checks), and the Turbos will work for bigger/older kids since they could be used as HBB or backless. These six seats shouldn't cost you much more (if any more) than two EFTAs and two HBB Turbos.

HaHa! That is what I thought originally. Then I thought about the ETA and TB as well. I guess the price would come out to about the same and they would have 2 more seats to offer.

That played into my suggestion as well. :) This way you'd have four harnessed seats - it's probably not beyond the realm of possibility that a family could come in with three kids of harnessing age - say, a newborn, 2YO and 3YO - and this way you'd be able to accommodate them all easily without having to stick the 3YO in a booster.

The Maestro is a pretty nice seat, easy to install, etc. (I've installed a couple at seat checks.) I think you'd like it as a loaner seat. (If one must have a loaner seat program, that is. ;))

Then currently have 6 Evenflo 3-point harness infant seats, 6 Evenflo Chases and 4 Evenflo boosters. The infant seats expire in Dec and the others Dec 2011.

I have a chase now b/c they were put together wrong. I brought it home to fix it.

They must have a loner program and the car seat tech already tried to get rid of it. Since she couldn't, she had some papers drawn up that state the child is of legal age to use the seats.

What about a wider backless booster for older kids who are squished in the TB? Something cheap but big like the harmony backless (I think).
