Vent I was told, I was right today!

So, I have a friend that turned her just 1 year old around in her Scenera a few weeks back and she is 31 inches and 22lbs. I told my friend that she needed to be rear facing until at least 2 and that seat states that her DD would have to be 34 inches tall to be FF. All this seemed to fall on deaf ears, until today when her DD had her one year check up and she asked the Pedatrician. The Ped told her she needed to be at least 36 inches and 2 years old. My friend told me, I was right and she should have listened. I am so glad that she got this information from me and I am more thankful that her Ped had the most up to date info.
Now we just need this friend to put her DS that is 4 back into a harness, he is a a low back TB, she told the Ped that he was in a booster and she was OK with that, but she did not state what kind and the Ped did not ask. Her son, is however 7 lbs heavier than mine at 5, but the same height.
Anyway it was a good day.

heck, many people consider a ff only harnessed seat a booster (mistakingly of course)... so no way can her ped advise her on her 4yr old correctly without full knowledge of what seat... not that a ped always knows... but this ped seems more up to date.

I would just try to work on getting her to get him a highback booster (or call graco and order the back and the cover for the back and then add it on to the backless portion)
