DD1 in her new Combi Dakota, DD2 in her Monterey

I bought DD1 a Combi Dakota because she was hating her turbobooster and I read on here it was good for older booster riders.
She LOVES it! She said it's so much more comfortable than the turbobooster and she loves that it's lime green instead of purple lol

How do you think she looks? I think I need to shorten the shoulder belt guide some because I'm concerned about the shoulder belt fit.
What do you think? Oh and she'll be 11 in July, she's about 75lbs and about 54" tall.

Happy girl

Here is DD2 in her Monterey. She's 7 1/2yrs old, about 65lbs and 48" tall.
I think it looks pretty good but what do you think?

your oldest looks great in the dakota! Try her without the guide... most kids when they are truly ready for a backless do not need the optional guide.

It looks to me like the guide isn't even doing anything...

the belt fit is just great (you're just not used to seeing the belt start so high on her as she's always had a back on her booster)

the fit for your younger daughter in the Monterey is fantastic! only tip (to remove the wrinkle in the seatbelt that is in the belt guide) would be to (assuming your shoulderbelts in your second row adjust up and down in height like mine do), try moving your shoulderbelt down so that it goes through the guide at a better angle... I had to do that when Jeffrey was younger... now that he's older I have to keep it all the way up to prevent the wrinkle.
