kijiji car seat ad anyone?

EvenFlo Joyride..it been bugging me for a while now as it just keeps getting relisted...I guess that is a good thing.
Sorry its in French but it says the weight limits and it a rear facing seat. Also that its very clean

How old is it?

I guess no one knows how old these are? I feel like I see them being used often but hopefully that mean they are current seats right? Off to try and figure out on my own..when I get a free moment that is.

www.carseat.org has an enormous color pictorial .pdf of *every* seat ever made, and what years they were made, check it out (I'm guessing 95-2001ish on that one?)

I have emailed sellers on kijiji before saying I just want more info on the seat, namely date of manufacture...then I go from there.

Thanks....good place to look or maybe not as I might get nightmares.

I still feel crappy that DH and I with gentle words were not able to convince our friend's for their third baby due this spring to spring for a new infant seat.
At least its only newly expired in the last year. The seats their other two are in are all "deals" and even pre kids I would say to DH man those seats look unsafe and rickety..sigh.

If I e-mailed every single seller of crappy old car seat on our local sellers list it would be a full time job. "Working perfectly just has a few repairs with duct tape

I do sell a fair bit of baby items and have links in my siggy of my e-mail address to car seat safety info so whose knows someone out there might learn something new because of it.
