My daughter just turned 8. I am fairly sure she would still fit, but she's been boostered for almost a year now (and I no longer own the seat to check).

The last time my DS rode in the Radian he was less than a month shy of 9yrs old. He could probably just fit at 10.5yrs, but he would start looking to hire a hit-man if I tried to put him in it.

DS1 hit 53" right around his 8th birthday. He never used a radian, but he technically could have used ds2's radian65. His shoulders would have been a little bit over the top harness slots a few months before he turned 8, though. I know SKJP said it is fine to use it that way, but I would not have been comfortable doing so. When we bought the seat, we also tried the XT. At 7.5, ds1 could not have used that one, because the wings hit his shoulders. He is 90th percentile for height, so an average-sized kid would probably fit longer than he did.

My 8 and 10 year olds barely fit, but they've never used one regularly. Ds1 is still in the radian and is 7. He has room to grow.

My granddaughter will be 9 in June and was in a Radian in her dad's truck until a few months ago when I got her a Ridesafer Travel Vest (because of the center lap belt situation`). She would probably still fit in the Radian.

My kiddo's older sister is 8, and prefers to ride in the Radian XT when she is here visiting. She has a little room to grow...not much, but some.

That is awesome! I am really, really hoping Dorian still fits in his Oct/Nov (he turns 8 in Aug) this year for our travel down under as it can go on the airline and in cars and I would rather him harnessed than in a booster. Here is for hoping he does not go through a growth spurt!:p

My nephew turned 8 in October. When he was here in December he still fit in the Radian. I'm not sure if he will still fit in June/July when they come back. He was very close on the harness and even closer on the ears. If he hasn't grown much then he will fit!

My DS will turn 9 in less than a month and is riding in a Radian 65. (Still harnessed primarily to accommodate our 3-across.) His shoulders are a hair above the top slots, and he may or may not be about to outgrow it by weight (depends on how accurate the scale at the science center medical "play area" was last week :p). He's still about 3" under the max height, though. He's still quite comfortable in the seat and has no complaints.
