A friend has a 6 months old that weighs 18 pounds. She's in an Evenflo bucket, not sure if it is 20 or 22 pounds (it's not a new seat, but it's not expired). She is not carseat savvy, and has even told me to remind her about getting a new seat as she will forget (this was when baby was 16ish pounds). I know most of us here are always looking at what the next seat will be 
But when do most parents start looking? When she's 2 pounds away? Anyone know what the seat's weight limit is? I'll have to look next week.
