carseat basics handout

My preschoolers teachers ask that I type up a handout for our parents about carseat safety basics. A few have their 4 year olds in a no back boosters in the front seat of their vans. Hopefully I attached it to the message right.

Is there anything I could take out or add? I really want to make this short and sweet, but there's SO much information I want to add!

That is great that they are having you do this! I know my grandson's teachers would look at me like I had two heads!

Maybe you can adjust your margins to get a few more words in. ;)

What you have is really good! I'm not a tech but here's what I would change:

Toddlers are up to 5 times safer if they remain REAR FACING until age 2. (Capitalize REAR FACING to emphasize)

Add to this :

Infants - Rear facing in a convertible seat or infant carrier until at least 1 year AND
20 pounds


but that is a minimum. It is SAFEST to keep rear facing for as long as the seat allows, at least to 2 years old.

I haven't had a chance to edit spelling yet, thus the lovely spelling of a few words. Thanks for the ideas. I will definitely change the wording in those few places. :) Keep the suggestions coming! :)
