2008 VW Jetta~ What car seat??

My son is almost 10 months now and 21 lbs. I currently have him in a Keyfit 30. He still fits but we are ready to transition. So my dilemma! I have tried out a few Britax seats and they just do not fit well back there. I want to keep my son in the middle rear-facing of course!

Anyone have experience with getting the best fitting car seat for the middle of my Jetta?

Price is not a problem so please suggest away :)

At what angle are you trying to install these seats? Older babies and toddlers with good head control can sit as upright as 30 degrees (35 for True Fit) in their car seats so it makes it much easier to fit big car seats in small spaces. The Keyfit 30 isn't a small infant seat so if you are able to fit that in there at a 45 degree angle, you should have plenty of room for most full size convertibles RF at a more upright angle.

I would try a Graco MyRide, Compass True Fit, or Complete Air back there at a more upright angle.
