It's not a permanent change ;) and it was an incredibly short drive (.8 miles at 25 MPH to DD1's school and back)

Ooh, I thought she loved it. "I can see Mommy!" "There is a house!" "Look cars!" We get there and she is happy and bouncing. We get home and I ask her if it is as scary as she thought (she was afraid she will fall between the seats). Nope, it was fun! Does she want to stay FF?

No, RF is "more comfy".:love:

(Why I tried this is this morning she informed she was going to stay RF until she "changed numbers". I asked her what number and she said "7". )

well, that's great that you let her conquer her fear well before she'll have to do it permanently... if she'd flipped out and been terrified, you would be prepared for a long slow transition period... now you know that she'll do fine and she knows there's nothing to worry about because her mommy will always be sure she's safe... but yes, rf is more comfy... and she can stay there as long as possible.

great job!

Yep, that was a huge part of it. She has these rather random fears and I am trying to show her the best ways possible that it is not a big deal. I figured if she did flip out it was close enough we could walk the rest of way. I am glad she didn't :)
