Question Britax Diplomat seat moving (not base) when installed

Ok hopefully I can explain this right I installed our Diplomat RF in my husbands car yesterday and when I gave it a tug at the belt path to check movement the base didn't move at all but the seat moved back and forth (still less than an inch) like it is loose from the base my other britax seats have never moved like that dose anyone know if this in normal or if something is broken on the seat?? Thanks

It's not at all an unknown problem. I've seen it once on a big Britax, and on nearly every little Britax out there. Britax says it's not a problem.

If you are saying what I think you are, my Roundabout did this also. Mine felt like it was sliding on the recline hinge. Was told it was normal.

My Diplomat does this sometimes too.
