Our local Baby Boutique just called ( this is the store I really DON'T like)
BUT...they just got 5 Sahara Regents in, and they are asking if I want one of them!
(I am desperately trying to reach my DH at work!)
I'm not crazy about 'Sahara' but I figure we could always ebay it and still make our money back if we don't like it!

WWYD?!

I called DH and he said YES - and the store is holding it for us!

That's great!!!

Will Katie-Noel be getting the Regent? If so, will Annie move into the Marathon?

Yes, that's the plan....
Now I have to convince DH to let me return Annie RF! (Pray for me on that one!)
We had to turn her FF a few months ago because her head outgrew the top of the RA's seat shell RF.
DH loves her FF. :( He loves that he can see her, and he loves that she can see the DVD player now - and so she is much quieter/calmer in the car.....

Maybe that's the only way the seats will puzzle! ;)

So...has anyone installed a Regent in the middle row of a 2004 Chevy Venture?

Also, if I DO put Annie RF again, should I move her outboard and put Katie-Noel in the center?

I can't wait to try all of the configurations.....i just wish it wasn't 1 degree outside! ( We always seem to buy carseats in the dead of winter!):rolleyes:

I don't know how it compares to the middle row of the Chrysler Voyager but my MA and Husky fit wonderfully side by side. (MA FF, never tried it RF)
Is Katie-Noel light enough to still use Latch? If so, I'd put it in the center and Annabelle outboard. If she needs the seatbelt installation though, I'd switch it, so it doesn't block the 3rd row.

Katie is about 36-37 lbs, so she's still okay with Latch for a little while.

We have the 3 across bucket seats in the Venture and the middle has a lap belt only. I usually get great installs there, but I'm worried it might be a little short for a Regent.

If you're installing with a lap only belt, you're supposed to use the short belt path. I can't imagine a belt being too short for that. Is there a TA in that position?

i just wish it wasn't 1 degree outside! ( We always seem to buy carseats in the dead of winter!)

I can tell you from experience, it's really hard to install a car seat when you can't feel your fingers, and wearing gloves just doesn't work :D It's supposed to warm up this weekend. We might even see temps above freezing on Sunday. Can you wait that long?

Sorry, TA is my shorthand for tether anchor.

And yeah, I'm the one who can't stand the Lullabye Shop. But with Regents being so hard to get right now, beggars can't be choosers. Let's see... they have a Regent in stock, and your dh said yes. Go for it :)
