Question Diaper pail recommendations? Anyone used the newest Diaper Champ?

Our Diaper Champ has had it. :( We have an older version, I think two versions ago. I was going to replace it with the same thing since it did work well for a long time, but I saw the current version tonight and it is a lot smaller. Maybe it would be good to force us to dump it more often :whistle:, but I thought I should consider my other options.

I know I don't want a Genie. Otherwise, my preferences are: stink-free, kids cannot get into easily, and I like to be able to use bags so I can use recycled plastic, but I'm open to considering options.

Has anyone found one they love? Has anyone used the latest version of the Diaper Champ?

I've had both Diaper Champs and I've liked them both. I like the new design better though. The diaper just goes into the one-sided disposal bowl and then you flip the handle back and forth. It's no longer like the old one where there was that weighted ball thing in the center of the disposal bowl. I used to always get wipes stuck because of that weighted ball thing with the old double-sided disposal bowl design.

We are changing the bag a lot more often now than we did with the old Diaper Champ. I wasn't sure if that's because the new Diaper Champ is a lot smaller or because I'm changing diapers constantly with a newborn these days. We're able to fit about 30 or so size 1 diapers in it before it gets too full.

People generally seem to prefer the champ to the genie when I'm at work at BRU, but I'm glad to hear some real reasons why it's great, thanks!
