I love it! Is there a strap or something that connects the seat to the frame to keep it on there?

Cute! I just can't imagine taking that seat out all the time with baby in it.

There were numerous times I would take the Marathon with E in it out of my car to keep him a sleep. The slightest movement out of the seat into my arms caused him to wake, but he would stay asleep in the seat. I think it would have been easier with this seat/set up (especially not having to haul the MA into a store cart). Maybe not great for an everyday kind of thing, but definitely when the kid has outgrown the infant bucket, but a parent/aunt :p/babysitter needs the kid to stay asleep whether going into the house or into a store.

I plan to wear the baby most of the time. I certainly won't use it frequently. But since we are skipping the infant seat altogether, it will be nice to have the option on at least a few occasions. My guess is I'll use it maybe twice a month.

Yes, it is the light grey strap that is buckled through the FF beltpath. You can see it in the first picture. The bottom of the carseat is wedged under those plastic tabs in the front so it won't tip back.

I think it's more that as cute as the CCO is (I have 2) I personally can't get it in and out without being able to wake baby... maybe I have to work on my skills

That is so cool! Personally I would do it if I only had one small child (as in- not school aged) to take care of and because I know I would install the car seat correctly when I was done, but I can't see myself recommending this to any normal parent on the street. :twocents:

Still very very cool.

I think it's pretty impractical for everyday use, but for travel/occasional use, I think it would be great. I'm taking a trip this summer in which we'll probably use cabs. I'm taking the CCO on the plane (LOVE traveling with that thing) and although I baby-wear 95% of the time, the stroller will be fantastic for the airport/walking around the city. (Since I'll need somewhere to put the seat while I'm wearing the baby.)

Thanks for the pictures! If DS still fits in the CCO this summer I may get one for a trip we are planning to take.

Is there a weight limit to the stroller? How does it push? Would you be willing to put jordan in and see how it pushes with a heavier child in it?

It pushes great when it is empty. :p

The weight limit for the child is 33 pounds.

The weight limit for stuff in the basket is 10 pounds.

Jordan is 34 pounds. I'll see if I can get him to get in it and see how it pushes. I don't expect it to push like a Quinny or anything. :p

I took my Marathon out a few times with ds and took it in the house so he would sleep while I unloaded the car and started dinner or whatever I needed to do.

I think it is pretty cool! Thanks for the pics

Okay, so, the kid can be 33 lbs, the cco itself weighs 11 lbs? plus 10 in the basket? Thats a lot of weight, actually. Does it seem like it is sturdy enough? i want one. Not that uh..i need one...lol.

I KNEW there was more to the "45 lbs. weight limit." (I hate to say "I told you so" but... It makes perfect sense to me.)

Interesting that though the trim is tan the frame is plain "metal" color-- not all tan as the first pictures showed.

I like it a lot and if the new 2010 CCO has all the features I desire it will for sure be one of the seats I get for the next baby, including the stroller. :)

Very cool.....but I would hesitate to take it outside without some kind of sunshade- like the infant seats usually have. But DD would not let me wear her so I had to use our stroller every day for our long walks into town when she was new. Looks like a great idea for the mall/indoor shopping.

I think this would be a great solution for parents in big cities who need a stroller and carseat for travelling in a taxi.
