Will it fit? *updated*

Will a Baby Trend Flex Loc fit as a carry on?
I can't afford to buy an extra refundable ticket for my little one when I go home next month unfortunately, I'm not sure of the plane type but we will be flying southwest coast to coast so i'm presuming it will be a large plane.

Probably not. But if the flight's not completely booked you should be able to use it on the plane, ask when you're checking in. If you can't used gate check it (and I prefer to have things in bags when gate checking so straps don't get caught and they stay clean).

When we gate checked our BabyTrend, they lost the strap threading tool. We had it tucked under the cover, and for some reason they felt the need to peel back the covers on the carseats. We noticed that other peoples' seats had the covers pulled back too.

Even a garbage bag would have gone a long way.

I talked to dh and I convinced him to let me get her a seat so I now no longer have to worry about her seat getting broken or damaged.

Good for you. When my DD was little we took her as a lap baby a few times until she was a year old (and lucked out with empty seats once or twice). By the time DS came along we just bought him a ticket. I must say there's nothing better than flying with small kids and being able to relax and read a book on the plane because LO is sleeping in their carseat :)

Have a good trip.
