I had to try this. We've never used a RN rear facing so just had to see how my 4 1/2 yr old DD fit. She is 43 " tall, 35 lbs and is on second to top slot. I slid the wings down to match up wtih the second to top slots.

I didn't have it tethered RF in the pic's. She's using the seat FF with latch and tether.

I know the chest clip is too low but we're just sitting in the garage taking some various pic's.

Great pics! She's such a cutie:love: and a light-weight! My 3 1/2yr old is 40# already, but also very tall with a long torso-she's a beast, lol.

It looks really reclined RF but maybe its just the angle of the pic. Are you having any problems with headslump FF? The first time DD fell asleep, she was fine, but it was a short trip. The second time, the slump was horrible. I'm not sure I'm going to like it:(

She will be 5 in July. She is a total light weight which surprised me because she was such a chunk when she was a baby. She wears slim jeans just like my older DD but she is really tall and my older DD is really short.

I thought it looked too reclined RF but I didn't really try to mess around with it. I just wondered if she would fit RF. We're using it FF only. We have only used it for short trips around town so no falling asleep yet. It's really upright though. We'll see how she does. We do have the Safestop on it for FF.

I originally got it for 3 across in the third row in our van but I'm using it in the captain chairs right now with latch and tether. I was having a hard time installing it with the seat belt in the third row. I think I need to get back there and spend some time with it.
