Britax Companion handle up or down?

I can't find my manual!! Should the handle be up or down when in the car? And is there any concern if the handle or seat touches the seat in front of it (04 Toyota Sienna if that makes a difference)?

Down on that one, you can reprint or read the manual at www.britaxusa.com. Doesn't the handle rotate down lower so it wouldn't be touching the seatback? Though I wouldn't worry about light touching, as long as it's not crammed against the seatback (which would be a major pain to get it in and out of the car, for one, but might disturb the advanced airbag sensors and make the front seat less safe for adult passengers).

It has to be not just "down" but all the way down (not in the middle position - that's just a stroller/convenience position). If you put it all the way down, though, like Julie said, the handle doesn't really stick out much past the seat anymore.
