...against my living room door, lol. This was the day that my long-strap Radian arrived. Rylan walked in the door, saw the seat and headed on over, stopped to pick up a book on the way, sat down and said "tar tea" (same thing he says when he sees everyone's kids in their carseats on the computer).

Rylan, my dad and my nephew Christian (r) in Grandpa's flax field this summer. The boys are almost 4 and 2 in the pics.

The are the triplets (white tail deer fawns), born about 150 feet from the house on my mom and dad's farm.

I don't have gmail, so I can't pull up the links. Maybe try photobucket or one of the picture sites that don't require you have an account with them to look at pics?

If you save them in a free photobucket account, then when you're posting your new thread there is an "img" box in the toolbar. You click the img bar to insert an image. A dialog box pops up so you can paste the web address to the picture you want to post. So whateve the direct link is to that particular picture, you paste in the img dialog box.

I hope that made sense!

Hey, what great pictures!!! Your boys are too cute ;) And so is the little fawn... Did you stumble upon the fawn by accident or were you trying to it/knew it was there somewhere?

Very cute pics, your son is very close in age to mine - 80/26/02 for my little guy. I can hardly wait for my new long strap Radian to arrive - how long did the shipping take on yours anyway, I've been waiting almost 2 weeks...

Oops, I forgot to put captions on the pictures!

Thank you...Rylan on the right is my son and the other one is my nephew Christian and that is my dad...and my headless sister (oops).

As for the fawns, if you look close there are 3 of them. They were actually born about 150 feet from the house. Early one morning my dad saw a doe going across the farmyard and then she laid down by edge of the lane. Once the doe left they went out and saw that there were triplets. The doe came back later in the day to get her babies and later in the summer we saw three young bucks together in the yard again.

About 15 years ago my dog stumbled across a new fawn that followed her home...Baby Buzz lived with us for a week before we saw a single doe who seemed to be searching for her little one.

That is so awesome...! So aren't triplets very rare? How cool to see that... Looks like you live on a farm? I'm jealous ;)

I grew up in a very rural area. My dad/brothers killed anything that moved in the woods. Trying to fit in, I got a rifle for my 16th bday (a Ruger 243 featherweight - I still remember it!). My first day out, I spooked a doe who leapt away. As I was standing there afterwards, trembling from coming that close to such a beautiful, fast, strong animal, I looked over to where she had been and there was a little fawn - sitting very still all curled up in the weeds. I turned around, walked back to the house, and gave my gun to my dad. I just could never bring myself to actually killing something :)

Thanks for sharing the photos - :D Rylan is adorable...

Okay, just checked the photos again. So you have horses too?!? What a beautiful little foal. Can I move in???

Wow! I didn't realize there were THREE fawns there! Wow!!!

Maria, I completely understand what you are saying. I think I would have the same reaction. I become very upset when I see an animal die, even when it is "natural order" or part of the food chain. I just get really upset. I know I am bit of a hypocrite, though, because I wear leather.

I don't know the percentages on multiples, sorry.

We just get to visit Grandma and Grandpa down on the farm which is about 3 hours away. Mom and Dad took over the grain farm from my grandparent's when I was 13. They have 4 horses...but the new baby is at my cousin's farm (one of my mom's mares though).

Anyone that wants to can come with us for a visit.:D My mom also does pottery, so there is never a shortage of things to do, usually it is time and energy that are lacking. Only bad part are those illegal tractor rides with Grandpa.

I have my hunter safety and have shot a few differnet guns...missed a clay pigeon once while trapshooting but I have managed to nail a roll of toilet paper.
