Which seat? (pics)

I need a seat that will get DS to a booster age in DH's car. I'm deciding btwn the GN and RNXT. I have a pic of him in an RN for now b/c my friend has my RNXT. I'm sure the GN will get him to the appropriate age but not as sure about the RN. In the pics he is in a cloth diaper style training pant which is quite bulky. He will be 4 next month. He says he prefers the RN over the GN but I don't want to buy another harnessed seat after the RNXT. Do you think the GN is wide enough?

Excuse the dirty clothes please....

If you are going to be FFing full time (I assume you are?) then I would go with the GN since it does make a good booster. :twocents:

We will be FFing full time since DS starting complaining about feeling sick when RFing.

I don't have an issue with purchasing a dedicated booster later... I'd likely get a Monterey or possibly something else if there's something better by then. I'm really looking to see which one seems best for now... and how long people think he'll have in the RN.

I see them. It really looks like he has more room in the Radian. Am I right?

I see them!
It's hard for me to tell how much further he has in the GN... Is he on the highest slots? Cuz it looks like he has less room.

He still has another slot on the GN. Sorry I should have been more clear about that. Do you think he has at least a year left in the RN? The GN seems a little narrow though... could it be more narrow than the RN?

He is adorable!!! I would use the Nautilus, it looks like it has more growing room harnessed and you can use it as a booster later.

Do you think the GN looks more narrow than the RN? In case you can't tell... I want an excuse to buy another RNXT. I figure I can pass it down to the new baby at some point which is why I could then get him the "perfect" booster... whatever that may be.

I think he would fit longer than a year in the radian. That is how Benjamin fit when I bought my first radian, he would have been 4 3/4 and he is now right at the top slots and is 6 1/2.
