What trim line do you have? I have a touring and have the side curtain airbags. If your model has them you should see "labels" on inside of the (usually above posts).

ETA: did some research (wikipedia) and it states: "Side-curtain airbags and electronic stability control are included in all models " 2005 and later

Great! Thanks!
We're looking at buying a 2005 Touring, but he owner didn't know if it had side air bags in the back or not. He only found a label for the front driver/pass air bags and didn't think it had them in the rear. Side curtain air bags are the one reason I want a new car... well that and LATCH. So, if it didn't have them in the back, it would've been a deal breaker for me.

Celtic, it looks like you have Radians in your Odyssey. Do you have any tips/tricks to installing them? I'll probably put my sons Radian in the passenger side captains chair.

Is your son RF or FF? I have mine RF and used LATCH. Both in the captain's chairs.

To get a tight install I moved the front seat forward as far as it would go, (passenger side I folded the back down, driver side I "tipped" it up all the way). I then used attached the lower anchors and tightened it till "snug" I then leaned over the back of the seat (as Ketchupqueen said in a half-moon w/your body) using my body to push the seat into the bight. This enabled me to get a rock solid install.

I do top tether my seats. For the '05 RF, I use the bottom "leg" of the tray table (make sure it's the part connected to the car. (here's a link showing what I mean http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=9902 ~ thanks to Lovinwaves!)

I do have an '05 Touring as well and LOVE IT!! Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!

We just bought the 2005 Odyssey. Surprisingly the Radian went in without any trouble, but the Regent is giving me a hard time. I have it on the drivers side captian chair and I can not get it tight enough. The seat belt is as tight as it will go, but I can still pull the Regent about 3 inches off the side of the seat towards the door. It's rock solid if I push it towards the inside of the van, but only because the seat belt stops it from moving.

I have 2 Regents and want one in the back seat, but theres only one tether anchor. It has to go on one side of the van, because my 13 year old has to have room back there too. Can the tether strap be off set? The tether anchor is a little closer to the passenger side, so I'm thinking I can hook it there, but wanted to ask you all first.
