Just called Graco and Im getting a NEW MR cover!!

So I called Graco because I have some slight fraying on the carseat cover (Bartlett) and they are sending me a replacement cover totally FREE!!!

I didnt tell the lady I have the Bartlett cover, so she asked me what cover I had and I said Streamer.

I like that cover and so shes sending that one out to me!! Woo-Hoo.....I asked her if this new cover has the 2 slot option on it for the harness, she didnt know. Its OK though, Im getting a new cover!!

BTW anyone have this cover, and if so, does it feel like the Bartlett one? How do you like it? Any pics, anyone?

I cant wait now....She said about 1.5 weeks.

Umm, I may be alone here, but the reason I didn't reply before is that I am uncomfortable with the fact that you were not truthful about what cover you had...

I didn't reply for a couple reasons.

I think it's wrong that you lied about the cover you had. I also think people blow things a bit out of proportion. Like with the Nauti harness "fraying". It's fuzz. It happens.

It just bothers me that people see a little fuzz and all the sudden call and get/want free stuff. That just jacks up the price of the seat for everyone else. I didn't see a picture of your fraying, so it's possible that it was a defective cover. But some I've seen are like a few threads coming loose. Snip them with a scissors and be done with it.

its really not a big deal with graco fortunitally, I had a chandler fray (harness) and graco sent me a new seat and asked what one I had, and I was truthful, and asked if I had to go for the same one, and they asked if there was another I liked, I said streamer, and they put me in for either chandler or streamer (but I got chandler) they are nice about that.

But I would have mentioned I had one but actually like the other.

Graco will send you a different pattern even if you are honest about the one you have. My Spiral cover didn't stay on (like most) and after one use it had a hole in the cover in the crotch strap slot. When they offered me a new cover, I asked if it had to be another Spiral cover, because I really liked the Bartlett one (and I'd bought the seat when there was ONLY Spiral.) I got my Bartlett cover a few days later.
