Neat birthday invitation!

My kids got a birthday party invite from one of the neighbors today and this was the wording on it.....

"You will be supervised by a responsible adult at the sledding hill, and you will be transported the 1/2 mile from the hill to ____'s house by a safe driver who will insist that you sit in an approved booster seat."


I thought that was SO cool! :D

Well right now it is (-12F), but you also have to cross a few REALLY busy streets!
It's much safer to drive! (... and if it stays this cold I HOPE they won't be going sledding!) I know MY kids won't be!;)

They are prety cool parents - the only bad thing is that they moved their little guy to a Parkway as soon as he turned 4 - he's on the smaller side, too.
Maybe I can compliment the party invite as a way to to 'break the ice' about extended harnessing? ;)

Or when you RSVP you could say how great it is that they are ensuring everyone rides in approved booster seat, and to help them out you will be sending your child's HWH seat because that is what they are used to riding in. :D Or say how cool the invite was and you were wondering if they are car seat addicts in hiding, lol.
