2008 Saturn Vue

I'm reading my way through the manual... but need some help!

Vehicle: 2008 Saturn Vue
Car seats: Boulevard and Safeseat

Parents wants: Safeseat in center, Boulevard behind passenger FF

Issue I ran into:
Head Rest interfered with shell of Boulevard.

Ideas to fix:
1. trying to determine if it is acceptable to recline the "40" seat.. the Boulevard fit in the seat this way (top of shell was sortof under the head rest)
2. trying to remove the vehicle head rest

Left with the Boulevard center (seatbelt install) and Safeseat behind passenger (base w/seatbelt... LATCH forced the seat to close to the Boulevard). Family would still like to try to have Boulevard outboard and Safeseat center.

Thanks!!

Unless the vehicle manual specifically says you can't, removing the head rest is pretty much standard for any large forward facing child restraint. (excepting of course the Dorel funky boosters).

IIRC the 08 Vue has removable headrests.

Thanks Maedze!

I did a google search and found a site that stated to stick a pin in the hole on the head rest area that is set for releasing, and that should do it. I had an inkling, but didn't want to break it. Now I will know when I see the family on Tuesday! Thanks
