Would you get a Britax Marathon or a Combi Coccoro?

My daughter is about to outgrow her infant seat. Would you get a Britax Marathon or a Combi Coccoro. I can get either for about the same price. This car seat will be for a nissan sentra. My older daughter who is 2 rides in a britax marathon.

The Marathon will last longer. The Coccoro is great for travel and is a great replacement for an infant seat for those who want a convertible from birth.

However, in a Sentra, I'd probably, personally, go with "neither." I'd get one with a lower profile than the Marathon that would last longer, like the Complete Air or the True Fit.

Out of those 2, I'd get a Coccoro. I like the looks of it and I keep hearing about Britax's bad FFing reviews. So, I'd use the Combi until the baby grew out of it and replace it with a Graco Nautalis.

I really like the Coccoro but it can be hard to install and nothing like the breeze install of the Marathon. If you're ok with that maybe go for a Coccoro. Depending on the size of your child and if they are long or short torsoed you could get 2 years out of the Coccoro and when pass the Marathon down to the younger child and get the older child a nice Forward Facing seat. If you plan on more children then the Coccoro could go towards that as well.

I'm gonna vote neither

I'd pass the Marathon to the baby and get a Radian, true fit, or comfort air for the 2yr old.

FYI: rear-facing Radian in Sentra, not a very good fit. Seatbelt install difficult. Also, forward-facing seatbelt install of Radian in Sentra, makes me want to tear my hair out unless I have a second pair of hands to help (and then just makes me want to swear.) Uh, I'm not fond of Radians in the Sentra. (My mom has one.)

What year is the Sentra?

That factor would make a lot of decisions of seat choice FOR me.
I owned a '96 Sentra...*shudder*

I love my Coccoro, it worked out really well for us when we got our new van. I'm so glad I got it. I have smaller kids though and I think I can get Olivia rfing till 2 in this b/c of it. :) I know it will have to be replaced later, but that's o.k. Mine installs really well in the van, vans are all I've ever tried it in.
