Has anyone seen IRL this new True Fit model?

I was moesing around on Amazon and wanted to see how much a TF was going for brand new, and then this model popped up. Cool! :D

Has anyone seen this one IRL before? How is it compared to the older version?

Well, looking at the picture...what I can see easily is that the strap covers are longer (still no belly pad?? WTF??), there is an actual level indicator (but the harness adjuster is still buried??), and a good place to store the latch buckles, no head pillow for the removable headrest and no head prop the infant insert...

hummmm....

FWIW, I hate the belly pad on the TFP. It comes off way too easily.

Admittedly, I am used to the britax belly pad. When I put Jordan in, I grab whatever I get my hands on (usually the belly pad) and pull on it to pull the crotch buckle out from under his bottom. That technique doesn't work on the TFP.

haven't seen one irl, but it looks like it's like the premiere version without the rebound bar. It has recline options and leveler, but no arb. I don't think they got rid of the inserts, they just aren't shown in the pics.

From what I've been told, the new TF will be what is shown in that link. It's basically a ARB TF (TFP) sans ARB, if that makes any sense.

The original TF is discontinued.

Canada is currently in limbo mode with the TF. We have almost no original TF's left to be had, we are waiting for the 'new version' to make it's way up here, and sometime during all of this (or maybe not) we're to see the TFP.

It's super awesome. All of it.

Those look nice. Wish there was a girly cover.

On a side note. Is amazon correct on availability dates? I really want the pink dot TFP which is showing available Feb. 22nd whereas another website says available eary April.

I was hoping for a girly cover in that model as well.

I also noticed that the pink dot style looks different on Amazon than it does on the other web site with the later release date. I wonder which one is the actual design. (And I hope it does release in February!)

What is the "rebound energy management for use in rear facing installation?" I know it doesn't have an anti-rebound bar, so does that mean it has a rf tether? Or perhaps it is just a misprint?
