Q. about Como latch clips

I was readjusting the harness on our Como and noticed that the alligator Latch clips were in the open position that is the "teeth part" of the connector was raised up. If I push the red button, they don't move, they stay open. I had to also put our Safeguard back in the car and the teeth part are closed down, and if you push on the red button they do raise up. There was a click when I attached the Como latch connectors and I can not pull them out - are they just a different design??? Just checking that they're still working...

Thanks.

Hi, that definitely sounds like there's something amiss with the connectors on your Como. Pressing the red button should release the lower LATCH connector and the connector should be closed/clamped down when the red button isn't being pressed. I'd get in touch with Recaro about that and see if you can get a replacement lower LATCH connector strap for your Como. :twocents:
