to play with car seats, but school was cancelled due to the weather, so I'm stuck at home and going crazy...lol. Since I've got a nautilus in the house I put DD#2 and DD#5 in it (I know how DD#3 and 4 fit because they both ride in one at least occasionally) to see how they fit.
Here's DD#5 (excuse the runny nose. She's got a cold and looks/sounds rough, but she hasn't slowed down!). She's 31 months old, 28 lbs, and around 36 inches. She's still on the bottom slot with the insert piece, but her shoulders are just under the slot.
Its definitely not my first choice for a seat for her (or second or third, etc) but if for some reason it was the only seat we had available I think she fits in it nicely. Of course I'd much prefer her to be RFing and don't see any reason why we'd be in a position that she'd *have* to ride in a FFing seat, but still...
And her's DD#2. She's 7.5 (8 in May), 52 lbs and 49.5''. She's just under the top slot.
