We drove in DH's car today since the check engine light is on in my car. DS rides in a booster in that car but he was not sitting very well in it today and it was snowing. He is on the top slot of the nautilus but just move to that slot and he weighs about 46 pounds last time I checked. Are there any HWH seats that are cheaper than the Nautilus for him to ride in? He will be 6 in 5 months and is about 46 inches tall. I do not know his torso height but I can check later today.

Has a link to where you can compare the top harness height of the different combo seats.
As far as the Gen 65 it is less than the GN (Graco Nautilus). The Maestro has taller slots than the 65 but it harness to 50 lbs (Which I don't know if it would be concern to you or not). This thread has a comparison of the two seats. I know that the Britax Frontier has a bit higher slots. The Frontier is also going to have a higher weight limit and higher top slots according to this thread . But I'm not sure of what price range you are hoping for. HTH
