Need a new seat

What is the absolute highest harness height on a harnessed seat? I dont care Brand, cost, whatever... just need a higher top slot for DD.

She's in the RN65, and I know the shoulders can be above the top slots as long as ears are below the shell... but what other seat will get me beyond a 17-18 inch torso. ((Please, tell me there is something))

Commercial? Regent if you can find it, otherwise Nauti and Frontier are at a dead heat (and about 1-1.5" taller than the Radian).

For 1000 dineros, you can buy the special needs seat Roosevelt, which has something like a 22" torso in it, I think!

See, now this is the thing I don't understand. Regent should have a 20" height, right? (at least I think it does)... but DD measures about 17.5 torso sitting criss cross applesauce naked on the wall. Yet she is right at the top slots when sitting in the regent. How the heck is that even possible!??!?

I stuck my finger in there, it was pretty lined up. I'm gonna try again tomorrow... she's in bed now.

If she is just growing out of the Radian, she should have close to 2" (depending on how reclined it installs) in the Regent. I'd try for a more upright install with the Regent.

I live in New England. Criss-cross applesauce is used in the preschools...a replacement term for the significantly more offensive "Indian Style" they used when I was a kid :D

Yep, what she said. DD started telling me this about a year ago... that's what they call it in school.

She was with me at my OB appt and I was explaining to the Dr some pain I'm having when sitting and I said "when I sit Indian style..." and she gasped and said "Mommy... you don't say that. It's criss cross applesauce". Ummm, woops!

The safeguard - I think it has 19" top slots almost 19.5" on mine I think - shorter than a regent - taller than a RN

Check to make sure that the slot you are feeling on the Regent is the top one, not the next one down. I had a seat that the cover slipped far enough that the top slot in the cover was at the next slot down in the seat. Do you have the Regent sitting upright, or reclined on the bar when she sits in it?
