I read that this morning... quite odd.
Does an ankle bracelet work on the moon I wonder?

To maintain THAT much "will to harm/confront/whatever" for a 900 mile drive and NOT talk herself out of it - wow. Its one thing to lash out, or to make a hasty phone call. But to get in your car and drive for hours on end....?

Seems very mentally unstable to me!

CNN now says the astronaut is also facing an attempted murder charge and this may keep her from being released on bail. That must have been an interesting shuttle mission last summer.

Attempted murder? For pepper spray? I don't think so. Assault, sure. But MURDER? No....

This was on one of the reports I read....it sounds MUCH more sinister!

officers say they saw Nowak place a black bag into a garbage can. Inside the bag they found a wig, trench coat, a BB pistol, a new steel mallet, a new folding knife with a 4-inch blade, three to four feet of rubber tubing, several plastic garbage bags and about $600 in cash.

Yikes!

Yes, but that's still not attemped murder. Maybe she meant something harmful, but she didn't DO it. I can think all day of killing someone (believe me, I think it about my boss' wife once in a while, the woman is a crack pot!) but THINKING isn't illegal or harmful to anyone but the thinker. Just because she had some potential naughty toys, doesn't mean she did anything wrong.
