How is the weather for you?

It was cold here today. When I left for work, it was 11* with a windchill of 4*. When I left work to go to my class, it was 20*. When I left class tonight, it was 11* again, with a windchill of 8*. It is cold!!!

I know it is colder in Canada and other parts of the States, though, so I shouldn't complain...

We spent 3 hours at the park today and it was lovely. Kids were coat-less and in bare feet in the sand. Maybe close to 70?? Up until Saturday though we had hard frosts and had to scrape the cars off in the morning! Crazy Texas Weather!

Arizona

Does that explain it? LOL

Last week it was highs in the 50's and 60's, so this was a big change!

I don't know what the actual temp was (too lazy to look it up) but I know it never got above 29* here... and they're saying the low tonight will be 10*.

It's cold here tonight -29C (-20.9F) and -38.2(-39F). They say we will still have 3 months of colder weather; hopefully not this cold our warmest temp this week is -21C (-5.8F)!

Hope everyone stays warm!

SeVA was cold today as well. Hovered around freezing all day, and dropping down into the low teens tonight. :( :shivers: Snow would make the whole thing much better, IMO. ;)

OMG!!!!! That's terrible!!! My lungs wouldn't be able to handle that. They are having a hard enough time with the 11* weather...

Yeah, I'm asthmatic, too -- my SO had just found me a great double layered thick fleece neck/face roll thingy ... it arrived just in time for today! My nose hairs were still freezing, but at least I could breath without collapsing

I think our high was 15 with a windchill of 5 or so. On my way home from work tonight at 9, it was about 8 with a chill of -4 or so. Way too cold for my liking!!!

I don't think it got this cold when I was living in Utah!!

I just heard on the radio (but haven't gone out yet to check for myself) that it is 8* right now, with a wind chill of -15*.

ETA: Now I just heard that it is 6* in some areas. I know that is only a 2* difference, but oh my!!!

Okay, I am late to work. I better get going.

-12 F on my thermometer this morning and wind chills are -25 to -30 F. All area schools are closed for the second day in a row due to the cold (and many school busses won't even start up according to school officials). It's the kind of weather where I won't go any where if I don't absolutely have to but have to keep our sloped driveway cleared of snow in case of emergency and for mail/package deliveries. Spending 10 minutes outside clearing a few inches of snow off the driveway yesterday was enough of the great outdoors for me. It's ironic because last month I complained about the lack of snow and how it would be fun to be able to get out the sleds and play in the snow. Now we finally have enough snow, but it's way too cold for the kids to go out and play, lol.
